Saiph fetch is want-only (trees recursively, then blobs, with no have list); checkouts are sparse and either virtual (FUSE through go-fuse, with an overlay) or materialized; the filesystem monitor is the FUSE journal or inotify in saiphd; EdenFS is a design reference only.
